Let’s face it everyone who has a phone probably drops it at least every other day and I need a phone that can take a blow and work as though nothing happened. 2. Blogs are a good way of getting a variety of feedback from your customers
  3. Blogs can provide low cost or free advertising by emphasizing the strong points of the organization and can build company reputation.
  4. Can be a great way to share information and communicate within the organization

Disadvantages

  1. People may write useless information in a very boring and unclear way. Also people can start company rumors that might create panic.
  2. There tends to be a lack of information from the most valuable sources on blogs and more information from sources that are less valuable.
  3. Blog maintenance can be hard to keep up with because it is so easy to blog. However, it can also be very time consuming. Low maintenance can lead to fictitious information being publicized that can have a negative impact on the company reputation.
  4. Many people have many different view of the organization including the employees. Therefore, all the blogs will not agree there will be many different opinion which will make some customers think that the company is inconsistent and disorganized

Blog B: Pros and Cons of NaviPlan

NaviPlan was made to be a support and aid in complete financial calculations. Naviplan is industry leading software that has been evaluated on its: Ease of use and functionality, Calculations and Help support and training options.
Each of the categories was given a ranking out of five, five being the best. For ease of use Naviplan ranked five out of five for many reasons. For instance, Text based link are provide at the top of the screen that help users perform basic function for example Help, Save and Print. The client Information and plans are categorized into engagements. Information is entered into data forms that included many fields for detailed financial information. The system helps professional users to organize plan for their client and categorizing them into Financial Assessment, Financial objective analysis and comprehensive analysis. As well as the program automatically update changes with regards to tax and inflation. Naviplan also score a five on the calculation that it performs. NaviPlan financial calculations are usefully too many organizations and businesses on a large and small scale. Some of the financial function Naviplan performs are goal planning, cash flow management, stock option modeling and extensive tax calculation as well as many other functions. Naviplan score yet another five on the help and training options. There is a strong support system built into Naviplan that helps users better manage and operate the software. Namely: Help function, Planning Assistant, right-click options, How Am I Doing & What Are My Options functions, there is also a website: http://support.naviplan.com/support_us/nps_offline/training_video_clips.htm that offers more detail video scenarios on how to operate the software. Overall Naviplan is a valuable tool for any company.
However, beside for all the good reviews about Naviplan there are some annoyances about the software. For instance one downfall of this software is that some people find the desktop version is not as user friendly and the online software. Others, find that the execution of the planning levels is not as good as some of their competitor namely Moneyguidepro.
Another negative is that at each level permission can be granted to various advisors so that they can accesses and edit client information. This can be a double edged sword especially if the initially advisor is not aware of certain changes. Also at engagement level users cannot do much besides for view and edit. Beyond that for the online version ESIS made lots of changes to make the software more flexible, which some users may like or dislike one change users may not like is not being able to navigate from one screen to another. Finally, the Fact Finder is very informative for the users but it is 70 pages long and that can be a bit overwhelming
